Four Things Not To Forget To Consider When Booking A Hotel

Travel Blog

Staying in a hotel is one of the most convenient ways to travel. You will have your own privacy, a place to keep your stuff so you don't have to drag it around with you, and more. However, before you book a hotel, there are many things to consider, such as the location, cost, and more. Here are four things many people forget to consider, though that can be most inconvenient once you arrive:

  1. Free WiFi: Free WiFi is a must, especially if you know that you will need to use the Internet during your stay. If you are calling to book a hotel, be sure to ask about their Internet provisions. If the hotel doesn't have WiFi, but you don't want to pass up on the great price for booking this particular hotel, ask where the closet free WiFi would be located. In some cases, the coffee shop right downstairs will have it for you or the fast food restaurant around the corner.
  2. Public Transportation: If you are staying in a hotel without the convenience of your own vehicle or a rental car, then you want to be sure that you ask about public transportation, especially if you are trying to save as much money as possible and do not want to have to spend money on a taxi to get to where you need to be. Ask where the nearest bus stop is and where it can take you. Also ask about other modes of public transportation to be sure that you have an idea of how central the hotel really is.
  3. Non-Smoking Rooms: If you are highly sensitive to the smell of smoke or you simply aren't a smoker and don't want to stay in a hotel that has a high percentage of smokers, then be sure to ask about whether or not they have non-smoking rooms available to you. This is especially important if you are going to be staying in a location that is known for having a high number of smoking visitors, such as Las Vegas.
  4. Breakfast Included: Finally, a great way to check and see if you are getting the most for your money is to ask whether or not a free breakfast is included. Some hotels have free breakfasts available to their guests in the main lobby during certain days of the week.

By asking about these four things when booking a hotel, you can be sure that your hotel, such as The Bridgeport Inn fort mcmurray hotel, is the most convenient for you and thus well worth the money.

Planning an Unforgettable Honeymoon

My amazing husband and I recently celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary. During this special time, we reminisced about our wedding day and the weeklong honeymoon that followed it. Our honeymoon consisted of spending three nights at a luxury hotel on the beach and three nights at a secluded cabin near a quaint mountain town. On this unforgettable trip, my husband and I got to experience both breathtakingly beautiful ocean waves and picturesque mountain streams. Are you planning an upcoming honeymoon? If you want to have a memorable trip, consider combining the things you love the most. For instance, you might want to relax at a lake for a few days and visit an amusement park as well. On this blog, you will discover how to plan a unique honeymoon.
